About Shiatsu
I qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner after completing both a 3-year course leading to the Practitioner level and a further post graduate year leading to FwSS (Fellow of the Shiatsu Society) at The London College of Shiatsu. (Jan 2004-2007).I am also a qualified aesthetician (beauty therapist) (CIBTAC) (Jan 1990-1992) and now have over 26 years experience. After qualifying as a beautician, I trained in reflexology and as a reiki practitioner.
Between 1998 and 2012 I worked part-time at American Airlines as a customer agent whilst freelancing part time as a beauty therapist offering services in massage, manual lymph drainage, reflexology, waxing, electrolysis, ear piercing, facials, slimming and body wraps.
I eventually found this too much, as my heart is far more into reiki, massage and shiatsu, so I have been focusing almost exclusively on those ever since, working as a freelance mobile therapist: please visit my website at www.shiatsuandreflexology.co.uk.
I also volunteer nearly every week at the Mulberry Centre, Isleworth, offering free shiatsu treatments for people with cancer.
I am a very calm, quiet person and I get on with people well, though I like to keep myself to myself and get on with my work. I am hard-working, well-organised, caring and attentive.
I love to travel, cook and eat out; I like watching good films and love being in nature.
Please note that all my massage and shiatsu treatments are either carried on the floor or bed depending on the client’s preference or if the client is unable to go on the floor treatment can be done on bed. Everything is done according to my clients’ needs and in the comfort of their own home. Massage can be done with/without oil. Non evasive too as they dont need to take off their clothes. People of all ages and conditions are all welcomed. Have also given treatment to people with alzheimers (in the presence of their guardian).
